Adelfia is derived from the Greek word meaning 'brothers'. Andrew, Chris and Danny Andre are the three brothers behind the genius that makes Adelfia tick. Originally from Cyprus, they bring a truly authentic taste of the Greek Islands to Cairns.

Enjoy a truly memorable evening listening and dancing to internationally renowned musician Chris Andre singing and playing traditional Greek music as well as most popular styles on the bouzouki, violin and guitar. Chris is resident here so we have live music most nights of the week (Tuesday - Saturday).

Alika, our resident belly dancer, performs every Friday and Saturday night with an amazing display of music and dance. A fusion of modern and traditional belly dance music, mixed with a creative and colourful array of costumes and lots of crowd participation makes for an exciting and fun-filled show. Alika is also available at Adelfia throughout the week for special events.

Dance the night away ... at any given stage of the evening you might hear a plate (or two!) crashing in the distance. Don't be alarmed, it's just the Greek way of saying OPA!!! It's time to get up and dance!!! We will teach you the moves to Zorba the Greek and before long you will be dancing around the restaurant in a long line with other people - most of which you've never met before. It's the Greek way and it's lots of fun.

Group bookings and large functions are most welcome.
